Have you ever visited a church and felt like a stranger? Have you left that same church and felt like you were never noticed? At our church we will include you in what we are doing each service. Our church is not about the Pastor doing all the stuff, but it is about all the "attendees" working together for the same common goal. When you leave The Journey Church, you will feel like you have been involved.
Most of us have probably experienced it. Those times where you've arrived somewhere and felt like you didn't know anyone and possibly no one knew you. It's an awkward feeling to say the least even for the most outgoing people. Chances are you've been there at an office event, special gathering, or even church. That is why one of our greatest desires is to be a place where people can be known as well as belong.
Our mission can be summed up in four simple words:Message, Maturity, Ministry and Missions. Each of these play an integral role in who we are as individuals and as a church at Brent. Our message is that people would know the love of Jesus Christ; our maturity occurs as we grow to know Him and one another; our ministry comes from understanding that each of us are gifted for His service; and our heart for missions challenges us to reach out to our community and world.
For many decades, we have sought to be a church that serves as a safe harbor for lives that need to know God and also a place where people are inspired to find a place to serve others. Ultimately, we are about living in and bringing others into a right relationship with Christ through selfless service.
